Here is a little something to get into your news section.
Halfway would like to extend an invitation to all riders to please come and enjoy a day in our town. On Saturday June 13th at 11 am we will be having our annual chili cook off between several of our businesses, as well as a cook off for the locals to compete in. We will be serving other foods such as hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad and such. Soft drinks will be available, or you can have one of your favorite beverages at the outdoor beer garden. You can kick back and listen to the live music while you enjoy something to eat and drink. There will also be a pastry auction in the early afternoon if you want to bid on something to satisfy that sweet tooth. All of this takes place along Main street in beautiful downtown Halfway. So come out and enjoy our hospitality, and perhaps even continue on riding the Devil’s Tail to see the view from atop Hells Canyon Dam ( approx. 48 miles beyond Halfway).
