Rally update!

This just in from the Mayor of Sumpter!

With your HCMR wristband:
“Rod and Dea at The Stage Stop Station and Mini mart will give a free fountain drink with a fill up of gas. Gary and Anita at The Gold Post Store and Gift Shop will offer a 5% discount on your purchase in their store. Dick and Sharon at The Elkhorn Restaurant and Saloon will offer $1.00 off a drink and a $1.00 off a  burger. Cindy at the The Scoop and Steamer Restaurant and Motel will offer a cold bottle water “to go” with the Big Biker Burger. Myra and Michaelle at Homestead Realty Inc. will have a free bag of fresh hot Popcorn for just stopping by.

On Sunday the Greater Sumpter Chamber of Commerce and the Sumpter City Council Members will do a ”donations only” hot dog and chili feed at the Fair Grounds. Soda and Water extra. From 11 AM to 2 PM (Follow the signs) The Laundromat will be open 24/7. Lil at The Depot Inn, has been my go to person and gofer, stop by and say Hi, she has lots of hand outs on the Greater Sumpter area. Now, if we can figure on a number of bikers that might be interested in staying overnight in Sumpter on Sat. night, the Elkhorn Restaurant and Saloon would bring in a live (good) country band for the evening.  We need that info by Monday.  We probably have approx. 50 bikers staying in Sumpter that we know of now. The Museums, Sumpter State Parks and Dredge with gold panning, the Library with free internet service will be open their regular hours.”

Baker Truck Corral – exit 304 – Is once again offering 10¢ a gal off to any rider with a wristband! Hey, it’s way better than what the other guys are offering!

  10. Hi, terrific site you’ve got here. I genuinely benefited from scanning this piece. I noticed it this morning and found it very worthwhile, so it motivated me to add a note. I know there will be others who probably have the same view about this matter. So, I’ll visit again when I have some free time to look at more. This is funny, but I was just asking my wife about this topic, so this information was timely. I will bookmark this site and subscribe to the RSS link as well. Thanks very much.
