Miss Oregon to Attend!

CC Barber, Miss Oregon 2009, is a small town girl with big city dreams. She graduated from Scappoose High School as a varsity athlete with an Honors Diploma, in 2005. As a native Oregonian and a nursing student in her final semester at Samuel Merritt University, CC Barber, is a caring and driven young woman, with a heart of gold. Through her participation in the Miss America Organization, CC has obtained close to $19,000 in scholarships which has helped her become the first in her family to not only attend, but also to fund her way through college. Once she finishes her final semester of nursing school, CC will have her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and hopes to specialize further in the field of neonatology. Other fields of nursing she finds interest in are oncology, geriatrics and the ICU.

Miss Oregon has become a tradition at the Hells Canyon Motorcycle Rally. CC Barber is a welcome addition to a long list of great appearances by Miss Oregon. Mark your calendar for June 11-14 now and make plans to attend the Hells Canyon Motorcycle Rally.
