I had a blast! The roads are great and they (the new friends I made) were fun to ride with. I had so much fun I decided to go get a new HD Tour Classic for this years Hells Canyon Motorcycle Rally.

Any of us can get a bunch of buddies together and have a good ride. But to put together a successful world class rally takes a big dose of these things: knowledge of motorcycling, enthusiasm for touring and good leadership.
I’ve been riding with Steve Folkestad to Hells Canyon for a lot of years and on many other multi-day rides. No-one has more of what it takes than he does. He knows what riders want.
Oh yeah, he has one more thing, he has Hells Canyon and Baker City, OR. Go get a map, get on the web and check it out, you’ll see! This is truly spectacular country with a wonderful variety of historic, interesting towns and tons of awesome roads, some close, some far. Just want to poke around for the day? Or want big miles through the deepest gorge in North America? There is such a range of great riding we’re all going to go home happy.
Steve’s the guy and this is the rally.

I’m a latecomer to cycling, but in the years that I’ve been riding I’ve been to Sturgis, Reno, and Baker City, Oregon. They were all great experiences, but the one that I keep going back to year after year is the Hells Canyon Rally headquartered in Baker City. The mood is laid back, the scenery is terrific, and the rides are first rate.
